Auntie turns 67, oh I mean 40!
Big gathering of the Fu clan this past weekend. My aunt turned sixty something, I'm guessing 67, but she looks alot younger than she really is. I hope I have my dad's genes. It was also my cousin's cousin's (distant cousin?) birthday. I can't believe Thursday is Thanksgiving already!

Poor Minnie

Our dwarf hamster, Minnie, seems to have a swollen eye. She's been quiet and acting a little crazy lately (constantly knawing on the wire cage). Our last hamster had a bump on its belly (probably a tumor) and didn't live too long after that, so I think Minnie may be approaching the end of her short little life. It's too bad because she was smart - she organized her food into different piles by seed. We'll try to make the most of the rest of her days, by giving her lots of treats and not disturbing her bedding. The eye that's shown in the photo is the one that's swollen. Poor thing.

Another one hitched!

My buddy Maggie from middle school (Pinckneyville-aka PMS) got married a couple of weeks ago. They really went all out for the wedding. The ceremony was classic and we enjoyed the 8 course dinner, traditional chinese banquet style! Check out the happy couple:
